This tour includes the best of Teotitlán del Valle. You'll have the opportunity to visit a beeswax candle workshop, where candle making is part of a local tradition. You'll learn about its meaning and the process of making it. Afterward, we'll visit an ancestral chocolate workshop, where you'll learn about the production process and taste at least three varieties of chocolate. Finally, we'll visit a workshop specializing in sheep's wool rugs, the main craft in this town. In this workshop, you'll learn about the rug-making process from scratch, as well as receive an introduction to the natural dyes that have been used for decades, and see a demonstration of how the rugs are woven.

The cost per person is $1,300 MX and the tour lasts approximately 3.5 hours. We begin at 9:00 am at the meeting point located at Av. de la Independencia 1300, Centro, 68000 Oaxaca de Juárez, Oaxaca. Transportation, a guide, and a translator (Spanish-English) are included.
